What is a Law Degree in Azerbaijan?
Students who wish to learn and obtain their legal degree in the country to work as "advocates" will need to obtain a Masters degree in law. This takes an additional three years beyond the study required to obtain a bachelor's degree. Students will also need to work as a legal adviser in the University department of law and pass the Qualification Committee of the Collegium in order to work in this field.
Law Higher Education in Azerbaijan
There are several schools of higher education in Azerbaijan that provide law education. International students can apply to these schools with proof of their current education level. Applications to law schools are commonly accepted on a limited basis from international students. Nevertheless, those who obtain a law degree here can work as advocates in the country at all levels of court.
