BA & LLB -Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law (Hons.)

To bridge the gap between legal theory and practice, an understanding of the social sciences is essential. Law is a profession that works in a socio-political context, and therefore for a legal practitioner, training in the liberal arts is a prerequisite. Alliance School of Law, Alliance University offers a five-year, integrated degree course—B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) that combines the knowledge of the social sciences with a training in law. The arts and social science component of the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) course includes subjects such as political science, sociology, economics, language and mass communication, which are supplemented by a range of law courses, and together they provide a broad-based multidisciplinary foundation to the curriculum.
