The student shall be required to register for a minimum of four (4) courses and a maximum of five (5) courses. At the end of the course work, he shall be required to sit an examination. He shall also submit a well researched dissertation which shall be awarded a mark. A student shall be required to undertake an oral defence of the dissertation. [+]
The LLM programme is suitable for law graduates and legal professionals who are interested in research and writing and who have the time as well as the ability to undertake fairly extensive legal research at an advanced academic level. Because of the demanding nature of the research component, entry to the programme is limited to applicants with an excellent academic record in the LLB.
