International legal questions The Master of Laws’ Advanced Studies in Public International Law is an intensive, high-level postgraduate programme which will bring you to the doorstep of international courts and tribunals. As a student in one of the two specialisations of this programme, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the foundations of public international law and become familiar with the current debates in the field. An important objective of our programme is to provide you with skills that will enable you to thoroughly analyse and interpret legal sources, literature, and cases, to research and formulate an independent opinion on international legal questions. You will also learn to clearly present your findings both orally and in writing to legal specialists as well as non-lawyers, to actively participate in academic debate, and to apply this advanced academic knowledge in public international law in a professional context.
