Program Description

LLB (Hons) Law Senior Status

University of Greenwich

Please note that the information on this site relates to the programme commencing in September 2016.

The LLB Hons Senior Status programme is new to Greenwich – the first intake of students started in September 2015 – and it aims to build on the success of our well-established LLB Hons Law programme. The Senior Status programme is a two-year qualifying law degree specifically designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree in another discipline. Successful completion of the programme will allow graduates to go on to undertake the further training required in order to qualify to practise,in England and Wales, as a solicitor or a barrister.

The programme provides a sound academic education in law. It combines the acquisition of knowledge of substantive law with the development of wider transferable skills. Wherever possible, it seeks to place law in the wider context of social, political, moral and economic issues.
