The course provides a well-founded scientific basic training in the foundations of the Swiss legal sciences as well as their disciplines and applications: criminal law, private law, public law, antitrust law, legal methodology, commercial law, etc.

The students are well versed in the various legal areas and laws. The final exam is a scientific Bachelor's thesis.

Accompanying the self-study, there are attendance meetings every three weeks on a Saturday. The course of studies is based on current research discourses and basic decisions as well as modern learning methods.

Bachelor of Law (LLB)

Our flagship LLB Honours Law degree will help you lay the foundations for a successful career as a solicitor, barrister, or other law-related employment. It is the only undergraduate course that offers a qualifying law degree for exemption from the academic stage of professional legal education, recognized by the Joint Academic Stage Board of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Bar Standards Board (BSB).A high percentage of our lecturers are qualified as solicitors, barristers, or both, in the UK and other jurisdictions and you will benefit from their experience and expert knowledge.On the LLB Honours Law degree, you will gain an excellent grounding in legal skills and foundation subjects.
