International Law

After an individual’s undergraduate education has been completed, he or she will need to pursue an LLB in order to actually practice in the field of law. This program typically takes three to four years to complete.

International law concerns distinctly separate legal disciplines involving public international law (laws of war, laws of the sea and international humanitarian law, for example); private international law (also referred to as "conflict of laws"); and supranational law.

The Cayman Islands are a British territory in the Caribbean Sea. A wide variety of higher education programs are available throughout the three-island chain, including a medical school, veterinary school, and a plethora of bachelor’s and master’s degrees available at both public and private universities.
