An LL.M. is the first step towards academics in many countries. It presents many opportunity to specialize in a particular field or to undertake thorough research. It can also prove beneficial in obtaining a doctoral level degree in law.
Students who pursue a LLM (Master of Law) spend one to two years studying a particular area of law. Their advanced training prepares them to work with specializations such as international law or tax law.
Discovered and claimed for Spain in 1499, Aruba was acquired by the Dutch in 1636. Aruba seceded from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986 and became a separate, autonomous member of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Movement toward full independence was halted at Aruba's request in 1990.
