Criminal Justice

Law school graduates and lawyers routinely apply an LL.M. to gain expertise in a specialized area of law, such as tax law or international law, or to move from one practice area into another.

A student who wants to pursue a career in law enforcement may study criminal justice. Criminal justice studies inform students about the inner workings of the criminal justice system. Those who study this field may go on to become police officers, crime scene investigators, probation officers, correctional counselors or paralegals.

Oceania consists of islands of the southern, western, and central Pacific Ocean, including Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. The term is sometimes extended to encompass Australia, New Zealand, and the Malay Archipelago.
