The Europa-Institut at Saarland University offers a one year Master's program in European and International Law with five modules: Module 1: European Integration and Modules 2-5 with the study units European Economic Law, Foreign Trade and Investment, International Dispute Resolution and European and International Protection of Human Rights.

After successful completion of the program, the title “Master of Laws” (LL.M.) is awarded. The Master's program aims to provide students with a great freedom of choice with regard to which courses they wish to attend and complete. The course plan is designed to allow for a choice of courses and lectures unbound by specific specializations, permitting students to freely choose and compose their LL.M. subjects according to their own wishes and interests within the European and international law.
