Osgoode's two-year, part-time Professional LLM in Labour Relations and Employment Law gives students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the theory, policies, and principles that underlie labour and employment law. Students will develop the skills to consider, at an advanced level, the social, economic and political forces shaping this dynamic field today.
Who is the Specialization for?Law graduates with legal work experience in the labour and employment field.
Professionals without a law degree who have excellent academic credentials and significant and senior-related professional experience.
Specialization StructureDesigned to meet the needs of working professionals located across Canada and abroad, Labour Relations and Employment Law courses are available via video conferencing and are structured as either weekly evening sessions or 3-day intensives. The Labour Relations and Employment Law specialization is a cohort-based specialization where courses progressively build upon one another. New students are only accepted into the specialization once every three years – the next specialization start is Fall 2018.
