You will be provided with a thorough grounding in human rights law, as well as the opportunity to pursue more specialist interests such as economic and social rights, business and human rights, or imprisonment and human rights.
The School of Law has a particular strength in human rights law. Much of a academic staff are internationally recognised for their research in the area. They have advised governments, collaborated with various international organizations including the United Nations and the Council of Europe, and joined forces with NGOs in their human rights advocacy work.
