Each year, countries around the world grow closer together through business, education, research, and various other industries. International law involves the negotiation and enforcement of agreements between countries that may not share the same legal standards, both in criminal and civil capacities.
Uganda hosts the oldest university in the East and Central Africa, which is Makerere University. This university has been the center of academic excellence for several decades for not only Ugandans students but also other students in the region. Uganda has over 30 public universities.
An LLM or Master of Laws degree is an academic degree, often sought by students with undergraduate law degrees who are looking to educate themselves more thoroughly in one specific area of law study. LLM programs are research-oriented and typically last for one year.
