Master of Law

LLM is Latin for Legum Magister, signifying Master of Laws. Our Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in American Law is a one-year graduate program. Foreign law graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree “LL.M. in American Law.”

A Master of Law (LLM) is an academic program on the graduate level that requires about two or more years of study. Students can choose to pursue an LLM in their desired interest, and may decide to use their LLM as a springboard to earn their Juris Doctor.

The assessment of one of the chosen full units (which must be from your chosen specialism) will be by means of a 15,000 word dissertation.
