Entry Requirements
The Master of Laws (LLM) is offered to students who have completed a professional law qualification such as a Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor or equivalent. Applicants from a non-English speaking background must achieve an IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no single band less than 6. Bond also accepts other English language tests including TOEFL iBT, CAE, and PTE.
Program Description
Bond Law has partnered with the Swiss International Law School (S.i.L.S.) to offer an online study option for the LLM with a specialization in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution.
The specialization has been designed for law students and career professionals from different cultural and legal backgrounds, who aim for a high-level career in an international law firm, multinational company or government organization. Its four 20 cps subjects apply state-of-the-art distance learning techniques to bridge the distance between students and their instructors, peers, and resources. Online classes of not more than 20 students are supervised by instructors based all over the world.
Program Structure
The International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution Specialisation is offered online and is available to domestic and offshore international students only. To be eligible for the specialization, students must complete at least TWO of the following 20 cp subjects.

Students can complete all four online subjects, and complete their LLM entirely online, or complete their 80 credit points using a combination of online and on-campus subjects.
# International Student visa holders please note: Under Australian student visa regulations the number of online subjects undertaken by student visa holders in this program cannot exceed 20cp. The remaining 60cp must be comprised of on-campus subjects.
Students enrolling in the above online subjects will receive access (free of charge) to the following bonus modules:

- Legal Research and Writing
- Legal and Compliance Risk
- Professional Ethics for the Global Lawyer

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Master of Laws program comprises 80 credit points of law subjects from the list of postgraduate law electives. There are no compulsory subjects.
Students can graduate with an LLM with a 'specialization' by completing at least 40 credit points of subjects from one of our five specialization categories. The name of the specialization appears on the students' testamur. However, students are not required to complete a specialization and may choose to graduate with a general LLM by completing any combination of law subjects totally 80 credit points.
On-Campus Specialisations
On-campus specializations are currently available in the following areas:
- Corporate and Commercial Law and Practice
- International Business and Finance Law
- Dispute Resolution
- Canadian Law and Practice
To be eligible for a specialization, students must complete at least FOUR of the 10 credit point subjects within the specialization category. No general electives are offered in this program.
Teaching methodology
Bond University’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
Online Specialisation
