Andorra Aviation Academy is located in the Principality of Andorra. Inspired by a group of aviation enthusiasts, an agreement to create this unique aviation degree program with the Andorran Government and the University of Andorra was signed in June 2015. EASA ATO 0033: The unique European ATO directly under the direct supervision of EASA. Andorra Aviation Academy offers 2 pilot training programs (18 months Fast Track course) and a 3 years Bachelor of Aviation degree course recognized in Europe and in 47 states (180 ECTS European Credits Transfer System according to Bologna process). Pilot Training Programmes Approved &amp; Supervised by EASA 100 KSA Syllabus All Classes Taught in English Andorra Aviation Academy and its partners offer pilot training courses approved in Europe by EASA (EASA ATO.0033) The Academy provides a professional university and flight-training environment that promotes the best-in-class airline standards in terms of safety, quality, standardization, and performance. In addition, it develops managerial skills to consolidate critical thinking, decision-making in complex environments, leadership, and communication. We are using the same Competencies model (9 competencies) used by all major airlines to allow our students to develop technical and nontechnical skills required to get the first position as First Officer. Based on the latest university research in pilot and complex environment training, we have developed a teaching method called “mindful training” to allow students to cope with complex and unexpected situations and promote “mind mapping” in students to match industry expectations. Pilot training is by nature, expensive. To lower the cost of training while keeping high standards, we have set up agreements with which are ‘general aviation’ partners in Europe. All these advantages contribute to faster completion times, to standardize the quality of training based on European EASA's latest requirements. We provide an all-inclusive program (no hidden costs) that is tailored to the specific needs of each student. The head of training directly contacts parents upon completion of each phase. TKI (Technical Knowledge Instructors) are active and current Pilots for major airlines, with University degrees. The Principality of Andorra is a small independent state located in the Pyrenees, in Southern Europe, between France and Spain. Throughout our training, we have airlines ‘requirements oriented to allow our students to gain legal, safe, and operational behaviors. We have established an agreement with a European Airline to hire, according to their needs, our students upon successful completion of the Pilot course and Bachelor of aviation degree pilot course and with a Business Aviation company located in Austria OysterJets (www.oysterjets.com). Our partner airline is taking part in the applicant selection process and is monitoring training development in order to assess from the very beginning of the training the future pilot progression. SunExpress We have established an agreement with SunExpress an airline (Headquarters in Frankfurt) that is a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, two of the most important world airlines for our student recruitment and selection, according to their needs after their Pilot’s License or their Bachelor of Aviation and Pilot. OysterJets We have established an agreement with a growing Business Aviation company located in Austria OysterJets. GmbH The OysterJets family is a group of passionate aviation experts and successful entrepreneurs from various backgrounds and industries.

La Salle Open University

The University of Andorra (UdA) is the only public university in the Principality of Andorra, a microstate located in the heart of the Pyrenees. Higher education in the country began in 1988 with the creation of the School of Nursing and the School of Computer Science, giving rise to the University of Andorra, whose campus has been located in the centre of Sant Julià de Lòria since 2004. Its mission is to give a quality response to the needs of Andorran society in higher education and research, and to train people in order to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to quickly and successfully enter the working world. For this reason, more than 90% of degree holders find work before finishing their studies or during their first month of research, according to a labour insertion study done in 2018 by the Agència de Qualitat de l’Ensenyament Superior d’Andorra (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education of Andorra). The University’s strengths are personalised student attention, the promotion of lifelong learning and an educational model with syllabuses based on the achievement of competencies by means of overcoming challenges. Annually, the UdA enrols more than 500 students in official degree programmes and more than 1,200 in continuous education programmes. Throughout its history, the University of Andorra has grown in training and research at a sustainable rate, and it now offers academic degrees at all three university levels (bachelor, master and doctoral). The majority of the qualifications offered are first cycle (3-year bachelor’s degrees – 180 European credits), both on-campus and online, mainly in the fields of technology, business, health and education. All taught degrees are adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) framework and recognized by participating countries. International relations are one of the UdA’s priorities, as well as the mobility programmes for incoming and outgoing students and staff.
