Our LLB (Hons) Law with Government and Politics is a three-year degree with options that focus on government and politics. It is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the legal or wider public, central and local government sectors or the commercial sector and who have an interest in government and politics. It has a practical focus, with employability integrated into the course. There is a high level of face-to-face tuition which for the law modules is delivered predominantly by professionally qualified lawyers. In the 2021 National Student Survey, the University of Law has been ranked first amongst universities in England for the category of 'teaching on my course'. Course Details

Full-time three-year Law with Government and Politics

As a Qualifying Law Degree, this course focuses on the key legal topics needed to move on to postgraduate legal study. These are complemented with modules that examine a variety of different aspects of national and international governmental and political practices, such as the systems and structures that form our government and the electoral system.

Studying this course is a great start to an exciting and varied career, whether it be in the legal sector, in politics, or across a whole range of other professions. Assessment

At the end of each semester, you’ll get a week for revision before two weeks of assessments.

• Exams: Two hours, ten multiple-choice questions and two long-form questions
• Coursework: Essay, project report or portfolio
• Oral presentation

We run mock assessments to allow you to practise before too.

Course Requirements

• BBB at A Level and Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English Language or equivalent qualifications.
• Students who will be under the age of 18 but no younger than 17 at the commencement of the course are permitted.
• International Entry Requirements: An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.

• UK - £9,250 per annum
• International - £16,700 per annum (London), £15,900 (non-London)

Fees are locked for future study years, i.e. the student will pay the same price each year.
