Overview

LLM is Latin for Legum Magister, signifying Master of Laws. Our Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in American Law is a one-year graduate program. Foreign law graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree “LL.M. in American Law.”

The study of intellectual property law focuses on the protection of creative ideas, artistic endeavors and original inventions. Students explore the global impact of intellectual property law on businesses, governments and individuals whose innovations impact and benefit all of society.
